“Sometimes it’s just too hot to go to the pool. ”

“It’s made me avoid being outside — I use the treadmill rather than walk outside. And it’s caused me to walk around saying, ‘It’s hot!’ as if everyone didn’t already know.”

“I work for a painting company, so I have to be outside anyway. We take more water breaks — every hour.”

“I only run in the morning.”

It's cutting into my grill time. The hamburgers aren't as appetizing at six in the morning. I s'pose they be good after sundown but that's too late for me.

I went jogging last night at 9:30 instead of right after work because the night before I got a tad dizzy from the heat. At 9:30 it was still 94 degrees outside. Like Bob, not much mowing, even though I water some. I am using more deodorant. I really don't mind hot weather that much. I do wish we coud get some rain. Oh, I did take the electric blankets off the bed. And I am punching people harder that ask me, "Hot nuff fer ya?"

I'll tell you a little secret.
If you cut a hole big enough to fit your head through in a pair of Depends, you can wear them upside down and they'll keep your shirt from getting sweaty. You don't have to thank me, I live to give.

I've been shaving the lemurs to help them keep cool.

"Boil Lancing Day"?

I thought it was "Flitch Day"

An old English custom from long ago eventually turned into a holiday called Flitch Day, which is celebrated on July 19. Every year on this day, since about the year 1104, any married couple who could prove they had been faithful and loving to one another for one year was awarded half a pig, known as a flitch of bacon. However, very few couples would actually "bring home the bacon!"

Today is Screen Test Day. In 1946 Marilyn Monroe was given her first screen test by 20th Century Fox Studios. Even without sound she made such an impact she was given her first contract...

I'll be glad when we can all drive on the SLT and catch a breeze.

Maybe you should just watch more popular shows.

It is a vast wasteland.

Bob is not mainstream. Something I like about him. I hear he goes commando too

Marco Rubio, R-Fla. also has concerns about spending money on public broadcasting.

Never heard of Downton Abbey, had to look it up. Not going to watch it. Too many actors with bad teeth.

Like Ken Burns never masturbated in a movie theater.

Left town for Oregon. 69 degrees and partly cloudy at lunch on the patio. Won't enjoy returning in August.
