    Finally!! A 'fair' question.

To the point: Yes, as a student in 7th grade and again as an adult leader for a science olympiad team.

Yes. RI showed us how to (redacted) with a (redacted) to make it go boom out at the compound. Then we ate cheese and summer sausage. Or maybe that was before.

    Spectator, scientist... or subject?

... well, that was the plan, anyway, until I backed out of my girlfriend's science project. She never forgave me...

These things are awful. Whom do they think does those projects - expecially at the elementary level. It is Mom and Dad trying to make it look like junior did the work. I've never seen one like the portrayal in "October Sky" for example.

I was going to say that I was growing some mold on some cheese in my fridge as a science experiment. But anyone that knows me would realize it is a lie. I would have eaten said cheese way before the mold would even think about starting. With a lovely wine, of course!

I made an intercom in 2nd grade. After seeing some of the other projects with their professional finishing and talking with my mom, it was clear that lots of parents were involved. My dad was, too, but only because he didn't want me to use his soldering gun. I did all the assembly, and Dad did the soldering. He cooked one of my transistors, unfortunately, so only one of my units worked. That was the last time anyone soldered for me. A couple of years later, my mom taught me how.

yes. RI put some (redacted) in a (redacted) and then we got to (redacted). Then some really cool sh*t happened. So much better than a baking soda volcano. Physics and chemistry is soooo cool.
