Severe weather?! Shoot my bomb shelter in the backyard was built to withstand a thermal nuclear warhead! No little "weather" is gonna scare me! Just stock up on the twinkies and MRE's and water and you'll be in business! And if you're smart, you'll stock up (hoard) toilet paper. Then you can trade it for whatever you want when the world ends :)

Find the nearest Dodge truck and jump in, because if the movie Twister taught us anything, a Dodge truck will stay on the ground even when cows, combines, and houses are flying by.

You'll want to get your looting taken care of before the tornado. Safer that way.
