“Yeah, absolutely. I’m all about local food. I don’t see any drawback to it.”

“Probably not right now, while I’m in college. ”

“Yes. We have chickens so we do some of that now. I’m sick of bad food, so it’d be great.”

I am a strict segregationist, the chickens have the coop and I got the house. The cock and hens have to know their place.

I would join a coup if I were promised the appoint of Minister of Beer.

I'm not really cooperative much. I don't play well with others.

I don't understand the question. I was in a fraternity once. I didn't like it. I'm not much of a joiner. You mean like the Manson family? That didn't work out well at all.

We do belong to coops, two of them, and we're looking at a third.

I would love to do this but my wife is a traditionalist.

I worked for Farmers Co-op in the '60's They went belly up. All Star Dairy in the '70's and '80's. They went belly up. A major truck line in the '90's and retired in '01. They went belly up.

Gee, aren't ya glad I didn't work for the government . . .?

Co-ops & CSA's are cool. Stu Shafer, local educator, is involved with one. They grow yummy stuff.

I got asked to join a couple of survivalist groups back in the '70's. Told 'em I didn't have time to hate my fellow man so no thanks. Now I see they're calling themselves "Preppers". Only difference I see is they use aluminum foil instead of tin for their hats . . .
