The salads were always nice, but the most memorable was fish tacos. ( And, no, that's not some R_I-variety S_I... that would be dessert. ) Grilled salmon in taco shells, with fresh cole slaw and/or chipotle tabasco.

Of course, that's but the ghost of home-cooked meals, past. Now, I'm haunted by the shackles of doorways, present... er... absent.

Last time I tried that it was for an intimate dinner with Sean Penn. I made some spaghetti. We got into a fight about Fidel Castro. I smashed a bottle of wine over his head and he tired to strangle me with pasta.

Good grief. I haven't cooked for two since the mid 80's. LOL..how would I know? Probably steak and baked? If possible, Nilla wafer with made from scratch nanner puddin with a 5 inch meringue dusted with turbinado sugar.Oh heck..if we're having puddin, forget the steak and tater.Just pass out two spoons and be careful for injuries going in.

Ribs. From Grandaddy's. Whoever gets their face covered in sauce first wins.
