Orlando Jones. His afflictive portrayal in "Office Space" of a recovering substance abuser forced to peddle magazines door-to-door established him as perhaps the finest ingénue of our generation.
I too believe that the great actors/actresses are mainly gone or too old to be in the business.
William Holden is a favorite. Eli Wallach should've gotten best supporting actor for his portrayal of Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez in TG,TB,TU. Paul Newman, Marlon Brando and so on. Kim Novak, yes, was beautiful and a great actress.
I think that 99% of the motion pictures made today are just junk so it's difficult for me to get enthusiastic about todays' actors.
Current actors/actresses? Willem Dafoe, Hilary Swank, George Clooney, Ray Liotta, Renee Zellweger, Natalie Portman.
Past? Too many to name.
Great movie. I thought Julia Roberts and Jude Law were both overrated until I saw their performances in that.
Michael J. Fox
Gregory Peck; Lee Marvin; Charles Bronson
George Brett in the pine tar game.
Samuel L. Jackson
Daniel Day-Lewis. swoon
Charles Bronson.... he's been dead for 8 years, yet he can still kick your a$s. Robert Mitchum, Kirk Douglas, Lee Marvin, James Coburn, and of course, The Duke.
My favorite Bronson movie is Hard Times. The best fight scene ever:
Charles Bronson-Hard Times -cagematch
Julianne Moore living, Natalie Wood not.
And Ellen Barkin. She and Dennis Quaid were great in "The Big Easy."
You should see Barkin in "Siesta". Wow!
John Wayne, especially in "Shepherd of the Hills" and "Stage Coach"
Stanley Tucci, Colin Firth, Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep
Liked Johnny Depp in Donnie Brascoe..........forget those pirate movies; silly flicks; fagetaboutit!!
