Would you be opposed to buying violent toys (such as action figures, soldiers, guns, etc.)?

“Personally, I would (buy them). I think each child is different and if a parent explains what’s real and what’s fantasy — it just depends on the maturity of the child.”

“I wouldn’t buy toys like that. It is hard — where do you draw the line? But when they see something get hurt over and over again, it means less — they don’t understand consequences of violence.”

“We made sure our kids had nothing to do with guns. But toys really aren’t violent, video games are.”

“No. Kids’ll be kids. They’ll make it up even if you try to keep it away from them.”
