i rode my old Triumph Bonneville to Lawrence in the early 70s i think and pulled up next to the fence at the south end of the stadium just in time to watch Jim Ryun run a sub 4 minute mile.

Last time I attended the KU Relays....when my brother still ran for KU. So, seven years ago? Something like that......wish I had the time to check it out!

Careful! I'll be cutting hams and bacon from the feral hogs. they're hard to find with all these immigrants thrown in.

No but it would be nice to experience sometime. When is it? Happy Earth Day, Good Friday, and 5th Wedding Anniversary for my husband and I The traditional 5th anniversary gift is wood... you think if I make him a cross out of fallen tree branches I will have covered all three of the celebrations?

Deja Coffin 4 years, 1 month ago

That's funny. That's pretty close to what my husband said when I told him what the traditional gift is. Geez!

Deja Coffin 4 years, 1 month ago

No but I am sure there are times that he would rather be crucified then married. Which I'm not sure why because I'm sure being married to me is always a fun-filled, happy, amazing experience.

Thank you and Thank you! It's a busy, fun weekend for us.... maybe not so much fun for the husband who has to buy a anniversary and birthday present but I sure enjoy it!
