LOVE the car I drive now...2000 mitsubishi Galant. The only thing better would be if she ran on air. But I'm sure the government would find a way to tax that if she did.
buckjennings 2 years, 2 months ago
I also think it's terrible that the gov't finds ways to tax us for things that cost billions to build, maintain, patrol, etc. Everything ought to be free.

1969 GTO. The Judge. Although any of the years 1967-1970 would be great. !955-1957 Chevys are also great with '56 being my favorite for some reason (gas cap behind taillight).

@jhawkinsf I hear ya. I had a 58 goat for years and loved it well.
But for now, I'll take a Tesla Roadster, if anyone is giving them away, partly because because I love the look and partly because I love the name, and partly because, welll....... look at that damn thing!

My grandparents bought one of these when I was a kid and had it until they passed away in the 80's. They left it to my little brother who was the youngest of their granchildren. All of us cuzzins learned to drive in that car. It's now a "flowerpot" on my brother's farm. My sister -in -Law planted roses where the engine used to be. They were Grandma's favorite.

It's a tossup; a Nash Metropolitan, a Nash Rambler (with the fold down seats!) or a Jaguar XJS.

FieldTested 2 years, 2 months ago
I'm with Marty. A dark blue, '67 Chevelle SS convertible, HO 396 375 hp, positrac rear end. I tried to put the money together for one when I was 17 - it sat there 2 blocks east of 87th & Nall in Prairie Village enticing me for a month. It was actually affordable back then. It belonged to a mom, and she wanted something that got better gas mileage. I learned to drive on a '66 Bel Air wagon with that engine and drive train (from back when you could still special order what you wanted) - what a sleeper.
