No apples for me. Bad association attached to them going back 30+ years involving apple dumplings eaten before going to bed and then coming down with the flu during the night. Even the smell of them still turns my stomach.

wax coated, insecticide covered, red ones picked by an underpaid immigrant!

Margaux- Your eyes, your name, and your answer all enthrall me. Can I take you back to Juneau? I'll provide you with the very finest, though I'm not sure how well the apples do in Alaska.

My favorite apple-flavored food?

I'd have to say.... The Apple.

Best-case scenario: A Golden Russet, picked at its happy height of ripe perfection from a tree on Fieldstone's hillside orchard.

Sadly, that won't happen this year as their apples have come down with some sort of blight. But I look forward to next year.

If our dead Margaux, who seems to have so enthralled our commenters, were standing there saying "Eat the apple, Reticent" - you're gonna' say no???

BrianR 4 years, 3 months ago

What Margaux said, just plain old apples.
