“I play usually at the mall, they have little courses, at places I’ve been. In Baldwin, which is where we live, they have this little course at the lodge.”

“It’s all right, I’m not crazy about it. If I haven’t got anything to do I’ll play it.”

“It depends on what kind of mood I’m in.”

Small problem -- no permanent course here in town anymore at which to putt-putt away.

Took the little woman on our first date to play putt-putt on 23rd street in July '69. Yup, old Roe was a romantic even then. She won of course. Haven't challenged her since. Haven't played putt-putt since either . . .

I got through "putt" one time and had to sit down for a while before I could make the second "putt".

Putt-putt had a different meaning when I was in Jr. High, and yes I did like to play.

"...she is going to ban me for posting the exact same posts as I have been doing for six or seven years..." In that case, merrill is toast.
