Did you play checkers or chess as a child?

We played with rocks and sticks. We were so poor the panhandlers gave us money. My folks sold my little brother to pay for my lobotomy. Even at 2 he was a huge Bob Dylan fan. I sure miss that cool little kid.

Still play checkers with the kids all the time. My 9-year-old grandson is in the chess club at school, and he's trying to teach me.
