What TV show do you consider “can’t-miss TV”?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on May 19, 2010
“‘Life.’ It’s really interesting, it’s all true and you find out things you didn’t know about.”
“I’m a single mom of one, and I work two jobs. I’m a little too busy for TV.”
“‘Masterpiece Mystery’ — it’s exciting to watch, it’s great drama, and they have great production values. You can tell they’re not a set.”
“‘Family Guy.’ It’s hilarious.”

Have to agree. And who cares about some stinkin' job. How can you work for the man when there's so many quality shows on TV (Please note sarcasm, DS)

The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Need humor.
whats_going_on 3 years, 1 month ago
hahah, this is a weird thing to admit, but for some reason if I had cable, I could leave it on the weather channel all day. Not even to really "watch" it, but to have it on in the background. Even though their programming is the exact same until evening.

I loved "All in the Family" and the "Archie Bunker" show but they can not show it anymore as it would be rated R. How can something so popular that was already shown on TV never be seen again? Stinks....Meathead!
asbury 3 years, 1 month ago
Nothing. I could live without TV forever. I only go to it when I need some "mind numbing". I will admit though, that there are some interesting informative educational programs....So while "numbing" whatever is troubling me at the moment, I can usually learn somthing....Learned all about "Stealth Submarines" the other day... Kinda scary.

somedude20,
They do show All in the Family on TV Land. I agree, great show.
Some other shows it would be cool to see again: WKRP in Cincinnatti, Welcome Back Kotter, Barney Miller, Baretta, The Bob Newhart Show (the original, not the one set in Vermont...although Larry, Darrell, and Darrell were pretty funny), Mary Tyler Moore, Sanford and Son (I think that one might be on TV Land, too)...and just for kicks, The Love Boat and Fantasy Island.
Why don't TV shows have catchy theme songs, anymore? What's up with that?
bkreed1960 3 years, 1 month ago
I think you can watch some of the shows you mentioned on hulu.com

Oh yes... House. It's like taking arrogance lessons.

I have to admit it. I am a HGTV junkie. Love House Hunters, My First Place and Property Virgins.
This season I am hooked on "V." I was a big fan of the 1980s miniseries so I was a little leery of it at first but now I am hooked.

The new show America the Story of Us is pretty good. Too much content and not enough time to really lay out context of events. But good watching. And I miss Coach. That show just really cracked me up.

I think I may take an art class in Celeveland Miss.

Wednesday night is my favorite night for t.v. There are so many great shows on, thank goodness for our DVR so I can tape them all and watch them throughout the week when the kiddos are in bed. Okay here's my list of can't miss shows and I know it will show my IQ level but I'm okay with that. The Middle, Modern Family, Cougartown, Criminal Minds, Top Chef, Destination Truth, The Ultimate Fighter, and yes sadly The Real World/Road Rules Challenge..... then there is also Big Love and True Blood on HBO..... True Blood comes back in June like a week after I have the baby and I'm ALMOST as excited about that show as I am about the baby.
