Should the Big 12 basketball tournament stay in one city or move to different locations?
Asked at Wayne and Larry’s Sports Bar, 933 Iowa on March 11, 2010
“Stay in Kansas City.”
“I’d like to see it stay in Kansas City, but I think it needs to be moved around every couple of years.”
“It should move from place to place because that would allow different cities to get the revenue and it would also allow different people to attend.”
“Stay in one city, Kansas City.”

They should always pick a city with a distinctive local cheese.

Depends entirely on whether that city is Kansas City or somewhere else.

Rotate it around. Why should Missouri get ALL the money ALL the time?!

rock chalk....It will never matter to them what we think. They go where the money is.

It's only fair to move it around. We could win in Dallas, Omaha, OKC or San Antonio, does not really matter.

Basketball in KC and Football in Dallas would be a good compromise.

Keep it in Kansas City, the final game vs. Missouri should be played there also, think of all the extra income Lou!

My first thought was that it would make sense to rotate sites ... maybe KC, OKC, Dallas, Denver, perhaps San Antonio or St. Louis (but never, ever Omaha or Des Moines) ...
But I've seen the light: Yates Center is the only way to go.
Norris Gymnasium inadequate? Bah!
Big XII in YC.

With the Big 8 it made sense to keep it in KC. Now it needs to rotate. A yearly switch from Dallas to OKC to KC seems practical.
