Something tells me Ms. Somerhalder seems just like R. Crumb's kind of girl.

Sit on my porch at 430am, smoke a cig and enjoy the lightning, thunder, and ice pellets.

I love watching the news and then complaining about the weather and how it is too cold or too snowy. Then I like to compare all of the weather reports and hound my buddies about how I wish I lived in a warmer climate and stories about when I retire

Pheasant hunting until January is done. Then I have to quit. I hate it when that happens.

T_O_B, I don't think it was Whitney, she usually sends these witty messages why. Here I was standing up for these people, and I get knocked down.

Somebody doesn't like Mojo, I think Whitney would dance with me.

"The guy above her pic is her husband."

Good to hear. I apologize to Audra for the assertion her engagement fell through. Good luck to you two wacky kids!!

Whitney must be back from vacatation. I had no idea she wasn't a Mojo Nixon fan.

Rock on, Bob! John Holmes was just a coked -out freak. He was a porn star, though. I miss porn "stars". Guess what? Seka now lives in KCMO!

You're right, Autie. Not only was I a college kid but I was also a frat boy, something I totally disown and will only admit to this one time. But it did lead me to the Wheel, and I had actually known Dr. Woo since I was a kid. He gave me a lot of free beer, God bless him.

0

autie 3 years, 3 months ago

Gee Hollis, if you were really cool you may not have frequented such a pedesterian bar as the Wheel. Dang college kids.

Wooo should be an official tribute to the late John Wooden, not the crook at UCLA, but the cool guy who used to own the Wheel. If you never got to know him, you really missed out.

"Mustard Seed Church? Really? I thought that was a health food store or something."

He set another parable before them, saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field; which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches."

– Matthew 13:31-32

Dispersant, that face is technically known as "duckface." It's an epidemic. I don't know if Audra has a Facebook page, but if she does I'd bet money that she's doing the pouty lip thing on her profile pic too. Once girls start making duckface, it's difficult to stop. Google duckface. It's a widespread sickness.

Hone life skills like cheese and wine tasting.

I wonder if she slips the cat a lude to get it dressed up, or, if her arms are shredded like a scratching post. Either way the thought creates quite a humorous picture.

Um, uh, nice to meet you, ma'am. I, uh, have to be moving along now.

We need to see some photos of Synthia's cat all dolled up.

My favorite winter activity is to be outside when it is cold doing most anything...waterfowling mostly....then coming home to a nice hot shower and cooking some comfort food while sipping ample quantities of arthritis medicine. Nothing like lighting up thousands of calories on a frozen day and then digging into a great big chicken fried steak with gravy.
