When we were kids, we'd build a little village out of Lincoln Logs to put under the Christmas tree. For effect, we took some chalk and rubbed it on the logs to make it look like the little village had snow. One year we probably shouldn't have used the tree lights to see by, 'cause when we turned on the room lights later on, it turned out we'd used yellow chalk.
