Say, I wonder what they're gonna do with all the eggs? If they're gonna toss 'em, I be glad to help toss a few myself!

No, I haven't stopped, been eating continuously since the recall. Starting to get full, though ...

They're fine if they're cooked thoroughly... No reason to panic.

Our little home flock should start laying within a few more weeks, anyway. They are spoiled but it's worth it. I just took them some kitchen scraps a while ago and they were very appreciative.

People who eat eggs worship at the temple of Onan.

Yeah Tom, the fetal chicken egg. I tried one when I was in the Phils. Drank the amniotic fluid first, then popped the baby bird in my mouth. No feathers, but I could feel the head and bones while I chewed it. Not my preference, but it wasn't too gross if you didn't think about it.

Tom: Come on a good balut in Olongapo, Philippines; just be pie-eyed drunk before you start. A good late snack before you tuck in. Oh, the memories.

I only eat songbird eggs, and I get them from various trees around Clinton Lake, so they aren't contaminated.

I would have done that just from seeing one in person.

My brother tried one of these in the Phillipines while in the SeaBees and gakked behind the vendor's hut.

Will "egging" someone become assault with a deadly weapon?

Egg toss, the new Russian Roulette.

A chicken is merely an egg's way of making more eggs.

When eggs are outlawed, only outlaws will have eggs.

I don't know why, but for some reason I trust our local grocery stores to pull any of the eggs that might be tainted off the shelves so I can't even purchase them. Eggs don't stay in our fridge longer than a couple weeks anyway. I like eggs.. but they don't like me.

trinity - The commercials on the tv keep telling me that happy cows come from California. Now I know from your comment that happy chickens come from Kansas.

I feel uninformed about this egg recall. I'll have to read up on it as I finish eating my eggs.

After the torment the Weaver deer went through yesterday, I expect a lot of good "yolks" on this thread today . . .

0

autie 3 years, 7 months ago

nope. They can have my eggs when they pry them from my dead, cold fingers....but be careful, you'll break the yolks.

0

Kris_H 3 years, 7 months ago

Nope, because I don't get my eggs from a store, I buy them from a friend's family who lets their chickens run around in a yard and eat bugs, just like our chickens did when I was a kid. They are gooo-oood!

John McCain always looks like he just sat on an egg when he smiles.

0

JackFrost 3 years, 7 months ago

Nope. Same old breakfast- 5 raw eggs in 8 oz. of bourbon. They seem to offset each other.

Those eggs were a lie, Esqueleto. A LIE!

Kansas is not one of the states that the recalled eggs were shipped to, and I live in Kansas. I will continue to eat eggs. I had a delicious omlet at First Watch Monday.
