What is the worst part about moving in?

“Taking all your huge, huge baggages, and walking along the stairs and nobody helping you.”

Unpacking all of the boxes. I moved in February, and I still have four or five that I haven't unpacked. Then there's all of the sorting of what was in the boxes and is now in piles on tables and shelves. One of these days....

The worst part of move in is that we have 10,000 freshmen with 1 or 2 parents and a couple of brothers and sisters for probably about 40,000 more people in town who have absolutely no idea where they are going. Seriously, don't drive anywhere for the next two weeks, you are taking your very life in your hands...

Back when I was in college? Choosing which chick to hit on first.
Now? No idea, but I am thinking of following the Australian Womens Roller Derby Circuit. Nothing like fishnets, skates, bruises, and an Aussie accent.

The worst part is not finding a treasure from the prior occupants. I once found $25.00 worth of quarters when I stayed in a hotel. Since then, I've always hoped one day to find a real jackpot. I guess I need to buy a metal detector.

Do they even still have those anymore? I haven't seen one in a hotel in about 20 years.

One doesn't have this problem with the dorms, but for me, just calling all the utility companies to switch things over is the worst part.
