    I have done a fair bit of speaking before a large group and the tip I have for anyone needing to do this: know your subject very well and you will not be so nervous. This has served me well.

    History has shown us that being a great orator does not mean you have the best ideas. It's called the Hitler effect.
    The recent presidential election is another good example.
    Gullible people are often sucked in and deceived.
