Yes. Kind of hard to be around Kansas for very long and not wind up on a farm at some point. Unless you're a JoCo or Wichitaian.

I was looking at some farm ground to buy for a mushroom farm. All I have to say is damn! At those prices farmers could make more selling the land then farming it for the rest of there of lives!!

Had to work my grandparents farm in the summers. Hated it. Hot, tedious, and miserable. Give me air conditioning and cable TV any day.

Ah, memories... my great grandparents had a small, sustenance farm... "crops"... henhouse and yard... hog pen... days of endless exploration and discovery... quilts and night air... rooster crow at daybreak....
