The land they were standing on at HyVee while being interviewed was farm ground not so many years ago.

No, but I have been to fields. . . great fields, where human beings are no longer born. . . we are grown.

Had to work my grandparents farm in the summers. Hated it. Hot, tedious, and miserable. Give me air conditioning and cable TV any day.

Ah, memories... my great grandparents had a small, sustenance farm... "crops"... henhouse and yard... hog pen... days of endless exploration and discovery... quilts and night air... rooster crow at daybreak....
