Asked at The Merc, 901 Iowa on November 26, 2009
“Dark meat, because it has more moisture and juice.”

“Both, I like everything.”
“We won’t even be eating turkey. We’ll be eating walnut loaf.”

What in the heck is a walnut loaf, and why would you eat it on thanksgiving?

You some sort of a racist or something?
On a side note, there are few things less pleasant than waking up and having one of those songs from the FreeCreditReport.com commercials stuck in your head. Yuck.

Here's a recipe I found for walnut loaf should anyone want to try it: http://vegetarianrecipes101.com/walnu...

You all are a bunch of conformists.

Walnut loaf? I think he made that up. Silly plant eaters.....

Actually, the term "traditionalist is more appropriate. A conformist sees something and tries to emulate it. A traditionalist keeps doing the same thing.
Back on subject. I prefer a combo of both dark & white meat and I would never, ever have walnut loaf on Thanksgiving.

Actually, I prefer my mom's recipe for Turkey Stuffing.
Be sure and read it clear through!
Turkey Stuffing
2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
4 cups rice
3 cups unpopped popcorn
Mix well in a large bowl. Stuff the bird and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes per pound.
When the corn pops, it will blow the turkey’s a** clear across the table!

Ever eat a pine tree? Many parts are edible.
I find the Fibonacci number ratios of the pine cone scales comforting.

I prefer the skin and gristle. Forget about the white and dark meat racism.
