Favorite thing? People watching. People are interesting.

My least favorite thing? The dog fecal matter that patron's poochies provide for people to tramp through, before they adjust their birkenstocks prior to handling every piece of produce in order to pick the "just right" one, transfering that fecal matter to every other piece of produce.

spacehog, I prefer to buy my lettuce and tomatoes and other produce from someone in Kansas, not California or Mexico. Of course, I'm forced to support these people during the winter, but once our growing season begins, I want local stuff.

Why is every "On the Street" question asked either downtown or at the Mercantile? Why not start asking some questions of the folks going into Wal-mart or the breakroom at the FMC plant or something. Lets try for a little diversity LJW?

Md, I'm all for homegrown, I'm all for farm grown, I'm all for poochies, I'm just not for poochies depositing fecal matter on black top, and throngs of people tracking it all over.

Is that the same thing as dog poop? (see that wasn't so hard) DOG POOP IS WHAT IT IS.

xbus, No it's not hard. Usually it's soft, squishy and rather stinky.

I love the sense of community. It's a happy place and my kids love it.
