My favorite meal is pinto beans, cornbread, and boiled okra. Then for dessert, I like strawberry shortcake.

I guess that would be bbq ribs. Or anything Ethiopian. Just love it, can't get enough. Fortunately we have a number of restaurants Ethiopian here in Edmonton.

Italian, what a drag there is none in Lawrence. (Great Italian anyway).

Cornbread beats out biscuits, O_bob....

Have you ever had fried McCain? It is salty, tough, chewy, satisfying and delicious....but I am letting go...letting go...letting go......

How about some East Indian food...my favorite...any and all....asparagus...strawberries......biscuit with honey and lots of butter...Gosh, I haven't had breakfast...off my 40, 30, 30 diet plan...going bizarrely down a high calorie splurge....help......

"Cornbread beats out biscuits, O_bob…."

False!!

"Have you ever had fried McCain? It is salty, tough, chewy, satisfying and delicious…."

More like salty, and tough, but with artificial flavors and despite how good it seems up front it leaves you with a poor aftertaste! shazam!

Obama, of course, looks great but goes down hard, and leaves you wishing their had been more viable options on the menu than the two main dishes.

Mr. Ret; My 40, 30, 30 plan might end up as a fertilizer in the end...but in the beginning it is an almost even mix of carbs, protein, and fat.....

O-bob and jonas.. "Nonsense. and false" .no ganging up on me.....with cornbread...You haven' had cornbread until you have had Crescent Dragon cornbread...highly recommended...there is a cornbread recipe for all occasions... Jonas, I did enjoy your political input, however....

prospector, did you just call me Renaldo? "mold fertilizer lambs for placement " and I always wondered what became of the Easter Bunny... ;( now I know.....

I love medium rare steak, mashed taters and gravy and a nice hot fresh roll with honey butter... I don't eat it anymore but it's what I love!

My new addiction is the grilled chicken wrap from Sonic and a diet cherry coke LOL

(in a redneck/hillbilly voice) Jeepers creepers....I just love to get my mouth round one of em fancy punani sandwiches...emmm emmm boy thems sure taste great!!

prospector,....and to think I thought people were calling me weird names when they have just been talking to someone else all along...when did the paranoia begin....

O_bob, it is cornbread that is American...biscuits came from London....cornbread is a Native American dish from waaaaaay back.........And if there is anything I love, it is McCain and America (you set me up for that one)

passion, didn't you intend to say, "fresh cornbread with butter and honey?"......

passionatelibra 6 years, 5 months ago

Ronda - Cornbread works as well but it tastes kind of funny to me when I rub it all over my empty plate to get the last of the gravy et. al.

Besides it falls apart easily :o)

I prefer cornbread with butter and honey with a nice homemade beef stew...

Hmm... always late for dinner....

Not to mention the preservatives... they'll kill you.
