Happy hour only applies to food specials in Kansas. Drink specials (of the alcoholic variety) have to run all day.
I don't know which article this question comes from. My paper was soaking wet this morning.

So this is a question asked to people in Kansas, a State that legally has no happy hour, referring to an article that very quickly points out that there are no happy hours, about if they partake in happy hour or not? Eh?
Ok, so I know that the term happy hour is now a more general term, but I still find it somewhat amusing

Set Em Up Jack's has half price appetizers Monday - Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. I like to meet my friends there. I think they also have the best bloody mary's in town.

I am least happy after dark when I see the wasteful use of external lighting destroying the dark, making a huge carbon footprint, disrupting human and animal sleep cycles, and creating driving hazards.

I partook happily on many occasions. Today, the hour is not a factor because it is $1.75 beer at the Free State Brewery all day long.

Use to be a place here that Fridays were 2 for 1 drinks and a huge table of finger foods. I ate supper there evey Friday night. It was the bestest times.

Happy Monday at the Freestate, happy Tuesday at Vermont St.bbq.Happy Wednesday at 23rd St. And any other day at the Star Bar! All have good pints for $2 or less!!

One last thing, I read these comments mostly for entertainment, not for serious debate (usually), so I found Gina's last comment especially funny regardless of if you agree with the person she is mentioning or not!
