Do you feel the need to overindulge during the holidays?
Asked at Wayne and Larry's Bar and Grill on December 3, 2009
“You bet, because that’s what the holidays are all about.”
“No, I don’t feel the need to overindulge, but I always do it anyway.”
“Just a little because during Thanksgiving there’s all that food and somebody has got to eat it.”
“To an extent. I really enjoy Christmas food and my mom’s cooking, but I also continue to work out.”

Who needs a holiday for profligacy?

food-wise or money-wise? yes to the former and no to the latter.

I assume the question is about food--not money. I feel the need NOT to indulge. However, by the time my daughter and I finish making all the candy and cookies we take around to friends, I'm pretty sick of looking at sweet stuff, so I AM tempted to indulge in the ham we have for Christmas dinner, as salty stuff sounds pretty good.

I don't need an excuse to get drunk on New Years or St. Patrick's Day. I get drunk when the mood strikes me. No where is that bottle...

Just the opposit, I remember the pain. I try to eat as little as possible. Ha!! you didn't believe that did you? Of course, not often I get really good food to eat.
