I like to read historical biographies, my dad is more into the Louie LaMour (sic) type books. Dad reads many more books than I do, but the books I read are more dense. I don't think my mom reads much.

no i dont think my parents read for pleasure. in my 39ish years on the planet i havent seen them do so anyway. i read a lot and my kids now 17, 16, 16 and 12 do as well.

No because I am a lot more literate than my father is and he never directed me towards readings of any kind. I just found what I read on my own from lists and bibliographies of other authors I have read.
