Have you taken any steps to winterize your home?

“Yes. We bought new storm windows this summer, and I just moved my herbs and flowers inside.”
“We just added storm doors to the house, and I’m thinking I should take a look at the attic to make sure it’s still properly insulated.”
“I haven’t done anything yet. I’m kind of bad about that sort of thing.”
“Not really, unless you count unpacking the blankets so we don’t have to turn the heat on. But I’m wanting to put up some plastic on the windows to keep some of the heat in.”

Seeing as how winter happens every year ... none. Well, I suppose I'll be taking the air conditioner out of the window, but that's pretty much it.

if you count closing the outer storm windows, yep i have. otherwise, that's about it.

Hubby swept the flue and put some wood on the porch. Got out extra blankets. Brought the plants in. Been catching all sorts of critters ever since!

The spousal unit spent mucho dinero para propano. She's still waiting on the heating system to become operational.My goal is the same every year. No heat till thanksgiving.
