“Sort of. I’m more interested in the scientific aspect of it, but it would be nice to know some of the constellations too.”
“No, not really. It’s just way up there, and I’m way down here, so it’s never caught my attention. It only recently caught my attention when Pluto was demoted. I feel sorry for Pluto.”
“I like to look at the stars, and I remember some of the constellations. But I don’t know very much about it.”
“I haven’t thought about it in a long time. I only learned a little bit about it in school.”

Look out--the bug eyed monsters from outer space are invading our planet. They're multiplying. I do hope the pasty white guy can save us.Astronomically speaking, yes, I like to watch the night sky. I even have a cheap little telescope that I keep trying to look through to see something, anything. Mostly, it's the neighbors.

Check out a web site called "Astronomy Picture of the Day". Really wild stuff. The site is run by a consortium of agencies and offices, NASA being one of them.Beneath each day's photo is a detailed description written in most cases by a professional astronomer. Within the descriptions are embedded links that let you explore further; this feature is most helpful and very interesting. This site has an Archive of the daily photos/descriptions. The Archive goes back many years. Just a super site to look at daily, or scroll through at your leisure, for anyone interested in the activities taking place in our ever-busy cosmos. You can zone out bigtime while looking through the site's Archive photos.

Astronomy disproves a young earth, so of course nobody likes it!
