Has the KU football team’s success last season raised or lowered your expectations for this season?
Asked at Jefferson's Restaurant, 743 Mass. on August 31, 2008
“I think they have a better team than last year, so they should do as well or better. They have a tougher schedule though, so it should be an interesting season.”
“I think they’ll do as well, because the coaches know what to reinforce and what weaknesses to work on.”
“It’s raised my expectations - definitely raised my hopes anyway. I think they’ll be better, at least that’s what I want to happen.”
“Raised them. From watching Mangino last year, he did a really good job. And I’ve been reading about a new redshirt freshman they got from Pitt State who looks promising.”

Looks like there are going to be alot of disappointed football fans, this year.I'm not getting my hopes up until we get these "Little Sisters Of The Poor"-teams off the schedule.

Meredith's answer makes me chuckle. As far as KU football ... I have no expectations, so they are sure to be exceeded. Now, Michigan on the other hand ... well, to be honest, I didn't really have expectations for them, either, so it's no big thing.

since you cited the source, no one will call you "Joe Biden"

We need to cherish last season's record...it'll never happen again. We have gaps where Talib & McAnderson were. We have a slightly tougher schedule this year. I think we'll lose some close ones and get wiped by Missou. We won't be ranked by the end of the season, but we're still better than most years in our history. It's nice to see a full stadium.
