Do you stop focusing on school around this time of year?
Asked at Lawrence High School on May 1, 2007
“Yes. It’s the end of the school year, and everything shuts down and goes into summer mode. I’m just ready for summer to be here.”
“Not really. It’s important for me to keep my concentration until it’s over.”
“Yes. I’m a senior and this is my last year, so it’s even worse.”
“Yes. I’m anxious to get the year over with. I’ve been in school for 12 years of my life, and I’m ready for a little break.”
“No, because it’s close to the end. I want to finish strong.”
“I definitely think it’s harder to stay focused this time of year. It starts to get down to the end, and your focus shifts toward the future and making decisions about college.”
