What are you doing to prepare for college?
Asked at Free State High School on January 30, 2007
“My mom has been showing me all the college credits I need that I can get here. I’ve visited some colleges and talked to professors in some fields I’m interested in. I’m also on the mailing list for a lot of colleges.”
“This year I’m taking a study course on SAT and ACT prep, and next year I’m taking an extended learning lab, which is an independent study course on researching colleges and applying for scholarships.”
“I’m checking into a lot of colleges to see if they offer fields that I want to get into, and I’m seeing which classes I can take here to help me prepare for those fields.”
“I’m not as worried about preparing as I am choosing which school I want to go to.”
“I’m researching a lot of schools online and prepping for my ACT and SAT.”
“I’m preparing to take the ACT when it comes around and I’m taking Chinese, so hopefully that will help.”
“I’ve sent in several applications and visited a few campuses.”
“I’ve taken the ACT, applied for some schools and applied for housing, but that’s about it.”
