Hooray for Beverly Mack. Good book. I just finished it on Friday night. I did enjoy it although parts of it did make me very angry. When the evil villain gets away with murder and mayhem, I fume. Ms. Mack may not know it but there is a lot of historical fact in the book. There was a long civil war between King Stephen and Empress Maud which made life pretty miserable for the people. And of course the archibishop of Canterbury, Thomas Becket was murdered in the cathedral by 4 knights of King Henry II. Good book. My kind of book. Historical stuff delights me.
