“The one that really scared me was ‘It.’ That’s my favorite.”
“‘Army of Darkness.’ It’s stupid, but it’s awesome. All the characters sit there and wait before they do anything.”
“The new ‘The Hills Have Eyes,’ because it’s really bloody.”
“If I had to choose, I would say ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose,’ but I haven’t found one that’s really scared me yet.”
“The new ‘Dawn of the Dead,’ because there are a lot of gross dead people and zombies eating people in it.”
“‘Nightmare on Elm Street,’ because he can kill you in your dreams, and he’s got the claws on his hands.”
“The original ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre,’ with Leatherface running around killing people in that mask made out of other people’s skin.”

I have one on my movie camera right now. I call it, "What ever happened to all the missing people." My first one was called, "Scream as loud as you want, my basement is pretty soundproof."

It's a non-fiction movie, called, "My Life"

Its always been "The Sound of Music". Now its "The CBS Evening News With Katie Couric".

Oh yes OMB. That movie still scares me. I was in high school and saw it in Dodge City.
Hannibal, I would have guessed that yours would be "Pinocchio" or something like that.

Gootsie,
Pinocchio was only in a cage for a short period. I think the addition of a wood chipper it would have been more entertaining.

I think my favorite is still "Carrie" or the old version of "Night of the Living Dead".
Come on, guys, it asked about your favorite horror movies, not ones you're afraid to watch!

Anything with Will Ferrell is guaranteed to be horror-able!!
I'd love to watch a horror movie where he is the victim of a slow tortured painful bloody screaming death and then he is chopped into small pieces and flushed down the toilet.
I agree with Paladin, Katie Couric is too awful to watch.
Have a nice day!

Katie, on her debut last night, looked a whole lot like one of the Zombiegirls in "Night of the Living Dead". Who in the world did her makeup? Boris Karloff? Zombie Eyes, for sure. And, did you check out that outfit? I fear for her safety, cause the town's folk are going to rip her apart. Poor thing. I noticed that about halfway through the "newscast", someone had tried to wipe off some of the eye makeup, when they were off the air, and only had time to get about half of it off. Oh, the horror.

Dang, I missed this one. Looks like most of the rest did, too.
I'm usually disappointed by horror movies because they fail to scare me or even give me that wonderful creepy feeling that was easy to find as a child. When I was a kid, Phantom of the Opera or The House of Wax did it for me. (Can't remember which Phantom it was--there are a couple of classic old ones out there. Needless to say, that hideous Andrew Lloyd Webber extravaganza creeps me out for very different reasons.)
Anyway... the only thing made in the last 30 years that I even respect, horrorwise, is the Spanish film, "The Devil's Backbone." Go rent it--but don't watch it alone!!
