I'm reading three books right now. Chosen Prey by John Sandford (love him, great murder mysteries). I'm rereading Stephen King's Dark Tower #7 and I'm also reading a book called Ancient Mysteries. Not sure who the author is off the top of my head but it's an unbiased look at some of the earth's great ancient mysteries (stonehenge, vampires, the disappearing colonists, etc). It's fascinating.

A really good mystery by Ian Rankin called Blood Hunt. Rankin is most known for his Inspector John Rebus books some of which have been made into TV movies starring that handsome devil John Hannah as Rebus. Blood Hunt concerns a Scotsman seeking revenge on both sides of the Atlantic for the murder of his journalist brother who seems to have been about to expose a cover-up by execs of a chemical company involved in some shady deals.
