Why do you think Ann Coulter decided to speak in Lawrence?

Asked at Borders, 700 N.H. on March 30, 2005

“Probably because it's a good way to reach out to the other side. I thought it was kind of silly when Howard Dean came here where he was already welcome.”

“I would say just to create a stir and get more publicity for herself. Especially with all these liberal college students around.”

“Maybe because she knew it would garner outside attention.”

“She just came to see what she could stir up. It's a college town, and that makes it a good place to speak out.”
