Do you think that 63 is too old to be joining the Army Reserves?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on January 30, 2005

“If it was a noncombat role, then I don’t see a problem with it.”

“I think they should be thinking about retiring at that age. It’s certainly a career change.”

“I think it’s probably too old. I think most people would have a hard time passing basic training.”

“I guess if you are physically fit and can get it done. I don’t really see any problem with that.”

I say good for him. He is providing a necessary service to our soldiers and their families, especially in these trying times.

Sounds like things are tight. About a year ago a doctor friend of ours from Ohio knew of a 68 year old Psychologist who was called up. Apparently had not signed the proper forms removing him from the "available" list. Do we have a new Senior corp?
