Do you think political candidates should be required to let voters know where they stand on the issues?

“It would be really nice if they made their views known to the public, especially if people ask. I really do think that it should be required.”

“Sure. They're representing the people. How are you going to vote for someone when you don't know what they stand for?”

“Yes, but in a debate setting. At some point before the election they need to tell people their views on all the issues. People need to hear it straight from the candidate.”

“Yes. It sounds like kind of a gimme. Candidates shouldn't get a bye on anything that they will decide on while they are in office.”
