“I know that the price of fuel is going up more than it was a couple of years ago when we had an energy crunch. So I’m sure that they will be pretty expensive.”

“A little bit, because this is my first time in my own apartment. I am afraid of my first heating bill. We might just have to freeze.”

“I live in a big house with three other girls, and we are just going to run the heat enough to keep the pipes from freezing. So I’m not really that concerned.”

“No, I just got married. We’ll keep each other warm.”

I will light the furniture on fire to stay warm if it means not giving Aquila more money.

Very concerned. I have a big old 2 story 4 bedroom house. Its pretty well insulated but even in a year when gas prices are fairly low its not cheap to heat. I'm kind of thinking about looking into how much it would cost to go all electric.

The cost of heating will go up about 30 to 50 percent this year. I wonder why. Did you know you can buy oil futures, say you buy oil at $50.00 a barrel to be delivered in the year 2024. If the price of oil is $200.00 a barrell you did pretty well. Mind you, you can always sell those futures anytime along the way.

I wonder if the Bush Family has oil futures contracts coming due soon. $1.00 says they do.

Do I really have to think about it?

I hate the winters here. Yes, its pretty and all with the white snow covering the ground, but the heating bill truely does SUCK.

Aquila charges you to have their servicem then charges you for the amount you use. Talk about a money grubbing company......Geez

So long as Bush is in office he and his oil pals will do fine. His outstanding diplomacy is being celebrated by the oil barons at 53.00 per barrel. Yep and when they get really serious about the Bush diplomacy the celebration will be sung to the tune of $70.00 per barrel. At the same time they speak of oil coming back down to $30.00 per barrel say about February or March. I believe this is called market manipulation ENRON style. Bush and pals are crooks.
