Should Kansas University students be forced to sit down at the basketball games so the faculty can see over them?

Asked at Massachusetts Street on November 11, 2004

“No. I think it would dampen the spirit at the game a lot.”

“Yes. The faculty's superior intellect should take precedent over the students' basketball craze. After a hard day of educating, they should be able to sit down and watch the game.”

“Of course not. It's important for the students to get into it. It's important for that energy to be there for the atmosphere of the game.”

“No. It's a tradition. The faculty can stand or move if they want to see the game.”
