Should journalists be banned from publishing pictures of coffins coming back from Iraq?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on April 24, 2004
“I think it’s another example of the Bush administration’s Orwellian tactics in promoting their own agenda and deceiving the American people who didn’t vote for them.”
“Absolutely not. People need to see that. Let them know what war is all about, which is death.”
“Absolutely not. I think the world should see the extent of what’s going on over there.”
“I wouldn’t want people taking pictures of my coffin, and it’s none of my business what someone else’s coffin looks like. That’s personal.”
