KU schedules another public meeting regarding budget cuts

Carl Lejuez, interim provost and executive vice chancellor at the University of Kansas, will host the university’s final budget conversation of the fall semester on Wednesday.

Lejuez has been hosting the meetings since the announcement of a $20 million across-the-board budget cut at the end of May. On Wednesday, he will review the latest information about budget cuts affecting the Lawrence campus and answer questions.

The meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in 120 Budig Hall, 1455 Jayhawk Blvd., on the KU campus. All members of the university community are welcome, according to the provost’s webpage, provost.ku.edu.
