Weather-related closings, cancellations and delays for Thursday, Feb. 7

• The University of Kansas campus will be closed for the day. Weather-essential staff are still expected to report to work. Bus routes 27, 30-43 will not operate. Route 29 will operate on its “B” schedule.

• Haskell Indian Nations University will be closed.

• Lawrence Public Schools, USD 497, will be closed. All after-school and evening activities are canceled. The Jayhawk Blueprint Informational Night has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Lawrence College and Career Center.

• Baldwin City Public Schools, USD 348, will be closed.

• Eudora Public Schools, USD 491, will be closed.

• Oskaloosa Public Schools, USD 341, will be closed.

• McLouth Public Schools, USD 342, will be closed.

• Veritas Christian School will be closed.

• Raintree Montessori School will be closed.

• Lawrence Montessori School will be closed.

• Prairie Moon Waldorf School will be closed.

• Century School will be closed.

• Building Blocks Daycare will be closed.

• Giving Tree Preschool will be closed.

• Cottonwood Inc. will open at 10 a.m.

• Independence Inc. will be closed.

• Googols of Learning will open at 10 a.m.

• The Senior Resource Center will be closed, including all scheduled appointments and activities as well as the Senior Wheels services.

• All Lawrence Arts Center classes before 5 p.m. are canceled, including the preschool.

• Lawrence Parks and Recreation facilities will open at 8 a.m.

• Thursday’s City of Lawrence Downtown Master Plan workshop for business owners, originally scheduled for 7:30 a.m. at City Hall, has been canceled.

• Lawrence Public Library will be closed until noon.

• The Lawrence Public Library’s Willow Drop-In program will be canceled Thursday.

• The monthly presentation of Welcome to Medicare at the Lawrence Public Library has been canceled.

• KU Child and Family Services clinic will be closed.

• The Restoration House ribbon cutting scheduled by the Willow Domestic Violence Center has been canceled.

• Ecumenical Campus Ministries will be closed.

• The Walter Mosley lecture at KU will now be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Hall Center Conference Hall, 900 Sunnyside Ave.

• LMH Health Sports Performance and Wellness Center, all classes canceled.

• KU Libraries’ “Meet the Spencers” exhibit opening reception at the Kenneth Spencer Research Library has been canceled.
