With a mix of cold weather and freezing rain, several high school athletic events were postponed Tuesday.

Free State’s baseball game against Shawnee Mission West was rescheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at 3&2 Field in Shawnee. The FSHS softball team’s road game against Olathe South was moved to May 5.

Lawrence High’s home baseball game against Olathe Northwest was rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at LHS and Lawrence’s girls soccer game was moved to 7 p.m. Wednesday at SM South District Stadium. The LHS softball team’s road game at SM West was postponed but no make up date has been set.

Along with the high schools, the Kansas baseball team canceled its game against Creighton, which was scheduled for Tuesday night.
