Free State junior Emma Yackley scored twice and the FSHS girls soccer team earned a 2-1 road victory over Manhattan on Monday. The Firebirds (3-0) have won their first three games for the first time since 2011.

Yackley, committed to Creighton, scored one goal in each half against Manhattan (2-2). Her score in the second half was off a set play.

Free State will travel to Leavenworth at 6:45 p.m. today.
