Seabury girls cross country 2nd at Tonganoxie Invite

Bishop Seabury sophomores Sami Dennon and Sabrina Eicher led the girls cross country team to second place at the Tonganoxie Invitational on Tuesday.

Dennon took third in 22:21 while Eicher followed in sixth in 23:02.

Henry Nelson, a sophomore, won the boys race in 16:44 and broke his own school record in the 5k by 13 seconds. Seabury’s boys squad tied for fifth in the team standings.

Tonganoxie’s cross country teams won team titles. Sierra Staatz posted the fastest time for the girls, 22:33, and placed fourth, while Calvin Morgan led the boys in fifth in 18:04.
