Lawrence Parks and Recreation offering child care for Black Friday
Parents who want to shop Friday without their kids in tow have an option.
The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Shop ‘N’ Drop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, allowing parents to drop off their children for a day of activities.
Programming includes gymnastics, soccer, basketball, crafts, board games and movies. The cost of the program is $28 per child, and the program is open to children 5 to 12 years old. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch.
The program will be at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. To register online, visit the department’s website or stop by any Parks and Recreation facility.
