With the threat of rain throughout the weekend, Free State’s baseball team will not be traveling to Missouri for two games.

Instead, the Firebirds (2-0) will face Shawnee Mission Northwest at 2 p.m. today at FSHS. It will not count in the Sunflower League standings.

Lawrence High’s baseball team will face Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo at noon today at Willard High (Mo.), moving up its game time.
