The East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Corporation wants high school girls in Douglas, Coffey, Franklin, Johnson, Lyon, Miami, Morris and Osage counties to have an affordable prom.

ECKAN will have its 10th annual Prom Boutique from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 301 S. Hickory Street in Ottawa, according to a news release from the organization. The free event will provide gently used formal dresses to those attending.

There will be door prizes, and attendees will receive free samples of beauty products and services, the release said.
