Melvern ? Veritas Christian’s football team was leading, 14-6, in the first quarter Friday at Marais de Cygne Valley when bad weather canceled the remainder of the game.

Hayden Pine ran for a 12-yard touchdown and Trey Huslig tossed a 48-yard touchdown pass to Matt Fred in the first six minutes.
