No new information available regarding Ohio Street homicide
Police say they have no new information regarding the recent homicide of a 42-year-old Lawrence man.
On the evening of Sept. 16 police found Lenny Dwayne Morrison dead in the 400 block of Ohio Street, Lawrence Police Capt. Anthony Brixius said in a news release.
Officers also found a woman with “significant injuries,” Brixius said. She was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and released the next day.
Brixius said Morrison’s death was determined to be a homicide.
Lawrence Police Sgt. Amy Rhoads said Monday that no updates were available regarding the ongoing investigation into the homicide.
